OOPS - small but not a teal

Mistakes happen – that is a hen Bufflehead, not a Blue-winged teal. I wasn’t expecting Buffies in a shallow Saskatchewan pothole.

She is a cool duck – Green-wing sized. Nest in tree cavities – some made by Flickers.
